De Hunan Restaurant 湖南湘菜馆 @ Kuchai Lama, KL

Mince meat + Eggplant

I had a very full lunch this afternoon with some new friends, it was Sammantha's birthday. It's a surprise lunch! 7 girls 1 guy, 8 dish, 4 appetizer! I've never met so many lady big eaters! Amazing! It was lots of fun! =D

There's no exact name to dishes cos' I had no idea what they ordered. Food was pretty good, but it was excessively greasy/oily, everything was SPICY!!!

appetizer #1 : Pig ears

appetizer #2 : cucumber

appetizer #3 : Seaweed

appetizer #4 : Toufu skin


Fried Egg w/ garlic, onion, chili...

Stir fried cabbage w/ slice pork belly

Glass noodle w/ mushroom

Chicken

No clue?
Very exotic type of mushroom and something else that has a hint of aromatic tea flavor

Toufu + Salted Egg

Fish head in spicy soup

Noodles added into the soup

    Actually the food not bad. But too oily. Overall I think it's worth a try, but remember to tell the chef don't cook too oily, they will adjust for you. Hehe

    I am a Gwei Lao but I like the Hunan Food very much. Especially the fish head and the mabo tau foo. I try to introduce all my mat saleh and chinese friends to this very nice Restaurant.
