2nd day of CNY @ Sid & Pat's

First of all, I would like to thank Uncle Sidney to invite us in a forceful but fun way!

-Phone ring from Uncle Sidney-

Sid: "Hi Flo (mum), where are you now?"
Mum: "Oh! I'm at home."
Sid: "Okay! So I'll see you in 30 minutes time ya! Dinner at my house."
"See you! Bye!"
Mum: "Huh???! O_o??"

Wow!! For the first time we got invited by our relative in that manner. Hahaha! But I thought it was really fun! I think it might be Aunt Olivier who told Uncle Sidney that mum turned down the invitation when she called awhile ago. Dinner was great! Good to see my cousins there too!

CNY Annual Dinner @ Chemor

If you're wondering where's Chemor, it's in Perak. More or less an hour journey to the north of Ipoh. Before Taiping of course! Anyway, that's where my grandparents stays. I'll always go back to visit them 2-3 times a year. Yes I know it's not frequent enough, hope I'm more able to visit them more often after I graduate. Sure hope that I'll be capable by then. Grandpa is getting real old from time to time, high time for me to learn as much as I could from him.

Here are some pictures taken while preparing for dinner and some night shots!

House of Taiping relative

It's been ages since I last visited Taiping, my Choy relative's house. Grandpa used to stay in Taiping and brought up there so is dad and his siblings. Then grandpa moved to Chemor, Perak. Taiping, 太平 means Harmony in Chinese. This place stands for it's name. It's a really peaceful, quiet and nice place. I love the place there even though I hardly go there. Food is nice there too! Especially the famous Taiping Popiah, you just wouldn't want to miss it! It's even more original than those "crispy popiah" selling everywhere nowadays. I like it original =)

Okay, here's some pictures taken when I stayed 2 days at my uncle's place.

I've never seen the Hibiscus grown so beautifully, even the ones in the public garden wont beat this.

Those who are married I wish you all peace and harmony within the family, to those who are NOT marry, like me... wish you guys with lots of luck in studies/career, have a happy life. AND PLEASE go grab more ANG PAO due to the global economy crisis. Haha! I better of going everywhere visiting IF I were to have the time.

Hope I get to take lots of pictures of the known 10 dish 1 soup family gathering dinner on the 30th night of the Chinese calendar =D Hahahaha! I'm so excited! And I really do hope this CNY won't be as boring as the previous years (Thank god I have my darling PSP to keep me companied). Okay, enough for today. Happy holidays guys! *Hugs*

Strange driver, strange car "Decoration"

I was at Federal Highway at about 4pm just now. As usual it's away jam no matter what time and whatever day it is. It's hectic... boring as well. Felt like sleeping after running around Glenmarie and Subang Jaya. Until this car passed by that caught my eye and I couldn't stop laughing for some weird reason...
