It's almost the same as the last one I posted. But this time I added Brown Mushroom. Couldn't find flour this time, so the sauce isn't thick enough. Thank god the taste is still there ^^
So, here's how it turns out like :-
- Part A -
+ Spiral Pasta
+ Herbs - Dried Parsley
+ Olive oil / Butter
- Part B -
+ Olive Oil
+ Garlic (chopped)
+ Thick Cream
+ Brown Mushroom (sliced)
+ Streaky Bacon (small stripes)
+ Herbs - Oregano, Rosemary, Tarragon, Basil...etc
+ Black Pepper
*everything by your own sense of measurement.
Part A :
Boil a pot of water, put a little salt into the boiling water to taste, then add the pasta in (of your choice). Stir occasionally, you won't want your pasta sticking at the bottom of the pot.
Get ready a drainer and a large bowl of ice water while waiting for the pasta to be done. When it's done, drain the pasta and dump it into the ice water. This will make your pasta more "bouncy" (I don't know how to describe =P)
Drain the pasta again and put it into a bowl, mix in some olive oil/butter & parsley to smoothen the pasta texture. You're done with Part A!
Part B :
Fry the bacon til it's cook (but not til crispy!!), take it up and put it on a paper towel so that it's less oily.
Throw the excess oil away from the bacon, wipe your wok/pan with the paper towel (don't have to wash), but PLS be careful not to burn yourself.
Heat up the wok, pour some olive oil/butter (or both), fry the garlic for a while, dump in the sliced mushroom and fry it together for a while. Add a bit of water to simmer the mushroom til it's soft then sprinkle some black pepper in as well. Then, pour in the cream and some milk as the pasta sauce, add a bit of flour if you want it thicker. Next, sprinkle the spices in and dump the bacon u fried just now. let it simmer for a while till the taste fully comes out. Add a pinch of salt if you think it's not salty enough. Now, Part B is done!
Ready to serve ;)
